It's a good feeling

It's about that time. If you are a teacher, you're preparing to go back to work this week. I started yesterday and it was a good feeling. I love encouraging and motivating students to strive for their best. I know they can do it. Everyone's best is different, but what counts is if they strive for it. I can say I'm good at that. It's a good feeling.

With that said, I had a WONDERFUL summer with my boys. Drew has actually gained weight (you can see a bit of a belly on him instead of his ribs!), he went up a size and a half in shoes, so now we're waiting for him to shoot up. He's maturing a lot and it's exciting to see. He learned to cook, he has almost mastered his multiplication facts and it's been encouraging to see how much he's tried to master them. He's worked very hard. That's a good feeling.

Zach is such a boy. He's going to be a heart breaker. He's super sweet and really loves his mom. He'll do well in school, but talks a ton! Sorry Mrs. Rowe, we're working on it! He will melt your heart though. Don't let those blue eyes and lengthy eye lashes stop you from putting your foot down. It should be a great year and that's a good feeling.

Matt is starting paramedic school a week after we go back to school. He's almost ready, just needs to get a few more books. He's totally on top of all of that. He washed my car this weekend and helped me clean the house, which is again such a good feeling. I am so blessed.

We love God here in the Chelette household. We may not have a lot of money, but we are rich in Him. We'll keep trucking along, loving Him and each other and that's a good feeling.

I hope the rest of your week and the start of the school year is joyful!
Have a great Tuesday!
