Drew and I had a great time together bonding at camp Emerson this weekend. He did a great job. We pitched our own tent, made our own food, earned four weeblo pins, constructed, touched wildlife, learned what plants to stay away from, and played army with the other five boys that we went with. There were many layers of dirt on Drew before the weekend was over, but he said it was all worth it. He loved it. Then to top it all off, I walked into a freshly cleaned house. My husband is awesome and knows what makes me happy!
This was for the engineering pin. He built a catapult.
This was also for the engineering pin. The instructor explained how they take these trees from the campground and build structures with them. The trees have been killed by the bark beetles.
Such a good listener. It was a lot like school.
Drew listened carefully as the BB gun instructor laid down the law and the rules of shooting BB guns.
