Drew is back from a week of camping

This picture doesn't do any justice to show how much dirt was layered on this kid when I picked him up. He didn't care that he hadn't taken a shower in a week or brushed his teeth. That isn't the plan at camp, but that was the route he picked. I think those are the clothes I dropped him off in!! He's now clean and powdered. He loved every minute of camp. His favorite part was at the mystery dinner. That was the night of his birthday and they brought him ice cream and sang. He felt pretty special. And yes, I let him be gone on his birthday. It was hard, but letting your kid experience life wasn't.
