We started Easter early this year because Matt has to work this whole weekend. Their baskets were a little different than your average baskets. As the boys have gotten, older we have moved farther and farther away from the candy and Easter bunny themes. This year, their baskets were filled with new swimming trunks, plastic eggs filled with coins, a card stock with a scripture on it, and a new DS game (the games were really for doing their best on their report cards). This gave them a little bit of a variety. They had a small handful of candy too.
After they read their scriptures, we gave Matt his gift. It was a coffee mug with his grandpa's picture on it. I knew he'd love it! His favorite down time activity is go down and have coffee with his Pop.
Then we played hide and seek with the plastic eggs for fun.
