Easter at Rikki and Brian's was awesome once again. Their backyard is perfect for the kids to find eggs in. This year, since we almost have enough kids for a complete baseball team, each kid got a dozen of their own color/style eggs to keep things fair and under some sort of control. There were also eggs filled with confetti to explode all over some poor victim! I think the kids liked that even more than finding the eggs with candy. Yummy food and the love of our huge family was all around. Rikki always goes all out for these things and it's very much appreciated.

After the Easter festivities we tried to slow it down so Cody could have his little 3rd birthday party. He opened presents, but was pretty sure they were supposed to stay outside on the back steps (probably to keep the other kids out of them, he's so smart). Then we had cupcakes, but he just wanted to play with his toys and didn't want anything to do with those cupcakes. I love this age. Three year olds are cute, no matter what they do, and it's really hard to tell them no. I love that I'm his aunt because it's not usually my job to tell him no!
